      Job Description:

      Overview:

      • BofA Securities Inc. is an industry leader in Leveraged Finance Capital Markets (“LFCM”)
      • VP in LFCM will partner with Capital Markets and Origination team members as well as Investment Banking, Legal (both internal & external), Compliance, Technology, FINRA (and other regulatory agencies), Client Services, Settlement Operations, Risk, and DTCC
      • Position will be based in New York, NY

      Responsibilities:

      • Create and maintain critical deal information in our bookbuilding system for communication and distribution to other broker dealers and regulatory agencies.
      • Responsible for FINRA and/or SEC regulatory communications.
      • The Associate will be responsible for booking HY Bond trades and will be central point of contact for Settlement Operations and DTC teams
      • The Associate will be responsible for various reports including audit/compliance/regulatory along with HY left league tables
      • Additional reporting responsibilities include tracking short positions, P&L communication, and updating the weekly pipeline report
      • Participate in internal technology projects and interface with 3rd party service providers like Directbooks.
      • Assist with loan syndication amendment process and loan reporting
      • Maintain new issue and prospectus database

      Qualifications:

      • 2-3 years of relevant Syndicate Operations experience
      • Working knowledge of debt securities, loan syndications and sales and trading
      • Familiarity with relevant compliance rules
      • Knowledge of various financial products
      • Knowledge of DTC, Middle & Back Office Background.
      • Excel skills required, PowerPoint / Word proficiency preferred
      • Applicant should demonstrate assertiveness, initiative, and strong work ethic within a team framework
      • Self-motivated and possesses the ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
      • Team-building capabilities both internally and externally, in the US and globally
      • Series 7, 79, and 63 Registrations Preferred

      Pay and benefits information

      Pay range

      $87,200.00 - $220,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

      Discretionary incentive eligible

      This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
