TITLE: Vice President
LOCATION: New York, NY (Option to work remotely within a commutable distance from the worksite)
DUTIES: Analyze and conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential primary fund investments and direct equity co-investment opportunities for the private equity investment team. Lead the preparation of due diligence materials and investment committee memos. Monitor and report on the organization’s existing investments through regular interacting with fund managers, attending annual meetings of private equity firms, reviewing quarterly financials, and performing portfolio analysis. Mentor junior investment team. Conduct special projects including product development and asset allocation analyses. Support fund marketing and existing client requests. Sourcing private equity coinvestments through developing extensive network of fund relationship.
REQTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field plus six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, or as an Analyst, Associate or a related position. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in the position offered, or as an Analyst, Associate or a related position. Employer will accept pre- or post-Master's degree experience. Must have four (4) years of experience within the private equity or investment banking industry performing all of the following: Executing buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged buyout (LBO), restructuring, equity, and debt financing transactions as industry generalist across sectors including technology, consumer, healthcare, industrials, business services, and financial services; Analyzing business model and assessing quality of business by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; Performing in-depth market research by assessing market size, industry growth, and competitive dynamics; Conducting financial statement analysis and returns analysis; Performing financial modeling and valuation analysis using Discounted Cash Flow (CF), public comparables, precedent transactions, and LBO model; Sourcing and building relationships with private equity managers; Facilitating transaction negotiation and structuring for Sales and Purchase Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, and Limited Partners Agreements; Bloomberg formula; and CapitalIQ formula, screening, and research tools. Must have one (1) year of experience within the private equity or investment banking industry performing all of the following: Evaluating, underwriting, and executing primary investments in private equity funds; Evaluating, underwriting, and executing direct private equity buyouts investments across variety of industry verticals; and Evaluating, underwriting, and executing special situations investments across variety of industry verticals.
TRAVEL REQT: 10% domestic travel is expected to various and unanticipated company and client sites.
HOURS: Full-Time; Mon-Fri (40 hrs/week)
SALARY: $220,000 - $220,000 per year

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $220,000-$220,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
