- Must be 21 years of age. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, communications, journalism, business management/administration or equivalent experience (required).
- 5 years of Marketing Management experience, preferably in the hospitality/service/local gaming industry.
- Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Must be well organized, detail oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of leadership team and outside counsel.
- Must be able to multitask, possess excellent communication and pay attention to detail.
- Develop Marketing Plans, establish goals, manage projects, oversees social media mediums and all marketing events.
- Effectively resolve challenges with internal, external guests and vendors.
- Must possess the ability to understand data, use analysis to support decision.
- Oversees and manages all Marketing events from implementation to completion.
- Develop the brand strategy and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Plans and prepares all Marketing Mailers, including interactions with PR Firm, Advertising Agency and Mail House. Must liaison with Post Office and make sure all permits and payments are confirmed.
- Must possess knowledge of Player Tracking System, player point breakdowns, policies, gaming internal controls and database creation and extraction process.
- Coordinates ongoing market research into market trends to develop effective marketing strategies.
- Must keep abreast of competitive hotel/casino features, benefits, marketing efforts and strategies.
- Works with Sales Team to drive room nights and revenue with hotel.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.
- Interacts with management, applicants, fellow Associates and/or guests.
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
- Requires prolonged standing and mobility.
- Requires bending and reaching.
- Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Requires lifting up to up 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
- Requires eye/hand coordination.

- Ability to and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.

Role: Managing responsibilities for all advertising, publicity, artwork, production, and promotional activities. This position assists in the creation of and being accountable to an annual marketing plan and budget for every facet of the property. Must effectively manage and oversee Associates in Marketing Department to ensure properties marketing effectiveness. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters team work and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATAIONS :
REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Valid Drivers License, Ability to obtain a Gaming registration.

When on the casino floor, the noise level increases too loud. A casino environment typically allows smoking.
