      Job Description

      The Vice President of Revenue Strategy will direct and assist in all aspects of revenue strategy for a portfolio of hotels, including but not limited to revenue management, distribution, and digital marketing. They will have high engagement with their counterparts in Operations, Sales and Digital Marketing and with hotel ownership groups. The VP of Revenue Strategy will support and guide the Regional Directors of Revenue Strategy and the Area Directors of Revenue Strategy in developing and implementing property-level revenue strategies for a portfolio of top-quality full service and select service hotels across multiple brands and independent hotels.

      • Collaborate and work with Ownership, Operations and Sales leadership to address concerns for a hotel and work collectively to resolve them.
      • Present to Owners on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis and as needed.
      • Provide specific property insight to the corporate executive team.
      • Maximize total revenues and market share index through developing pricing, restrictions, mix of sales and channel visibility.
      • Test and measure all rate strategies to drive RPI growth weekly, monthly and yearly
      • Analyze data to interpret market trends, market dynamics, strategy changes, and optimum mix of sales, etc.
      • Lead by example through Remington’s five essential guiding principles: Be Ethical, Profitable, Innovative, Tenacious and Engaging
      • Participate and present in companywide calls.
      • Monitor Parity across the portfolio of hotels.
      • Monitor competitive pricing across all channels and products.
      • Ensure the Group Pricing structure is set up for all hotels in the portfolio.
      • Assist the team in understanding and applying the dynamics of local markets and demand generators.
      • Assist as needed in the yearly RFP process.
      • Assist as needed in the yearly budgeting process and goal setting process.
      • Assist as needed in reporting to ownership.

      Requirements

      • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
      • Ability to build relationships among team members and across brand, corporate and property.
      • Knowledge about various Revenue Management systems, processes, and support resources
      • Effective communication and presentation skills
      • Strong leadership skills, and ability to influence team, manage, and develop a remote based team.
      • 10+ years of Revenue Management Experience.
      • 3+ years of leading a team of 4+ direct reports.
      • Experience collaborating with ownership, upper management, and corporate executive team.
      • Strong Excel Skills
      • Travel required as needed.
      • Attention to details with strong organizational and efficient time management skills
      • Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and strong communication skills
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient
      • Ability to satisfy the legal requirements for employment within the jurisdiction
