- Lead multi-year vision setting, strategic priorities, and execution roadmap for performance marketing function
- Demand Generation:
- Develop and execute demand generation strategies to generate pipeline and drive sales for our products and solutions
- Utilize digital marketing channels, including SEM, SEO, social media advertising, email marketing, and display, to achieve pipeline and sales goals.
- Continuously analyze and optimize campaign performance
- Content Strategy and Creation:
- Drive content strategy and processes
- Act as the central hub for content creation across the marketing organization
- Develop engaging and relevant content that supports marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring it resonates with our target audience
- Own agency relationships
- Drive media strategy
- Drive paid media and SEO strategy.
- Manage agencies to drive effective and efficient advertising campaigns
- Negotiate contracts, set performance expectations, and monitor campaign progress to deliver a positive ROI.
- Campaign Calendar Ownership:
- Create and manage a comprehensive marketing campaign calendar in coordination with product marketing, field marketing, and brand marketing teams.
- Website
- Drive website strategy on both the front and back end
- Evolve website to drive brand and scale demand generation
- Anticipate a substantial revamp of current website
- Own the Marketing Tech stack
- Ability to work with C-level executives
- Proven leadership experience in Performance marketing and related areas
- Ability to set clear direction and priorities for marketing team
- Ability to drive alignment in cross-functional teams and work well with / collaborate with Sales
- Ability to hit the ground running and drive results rapidly
- Must have industry knowledge of peer / competitor product portfolios
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and optimization.
- Industry experience in the hardware or related technology sectors is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
- Strategic thinker capable of developing long-term marketing plans.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs.
- Adaptability to evolving marketing trends and technologies.
- Budget management experience to optimize resource allocation.
- Innovative mindset open to exploring new marketing approaches and technologies.
Job Summary: Juniper Networks is seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice-President, Performance Marketing to join our dynamic marketing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving demand generation programs, managing a content team, and driving paid media and SEO strategy and agencies. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy and achieving our growth ambition.
This is a highly visible role in the organization reporting to the CMO and requires frequent discussions with C-suite and senior leadership at Juniper. The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic problem solver, an operational leader, and a strong communicator and influencer. Prior experience leading Performance Marketing or Integrated Marketing in the technology sector is a must.
