      The salary range for this role, based in New York is $200,000 to $230,000, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

      Position Summary

      • This position is responsible for developing the commercial sales strategy for PR USA’s Prestige portfolio of spirit and champagne brands. S/he will also be responsible to directly or indirectly lead a team to execute this strategy in designated channels and markets across the U.S.

      This person will be responsible for:

      • Developing the Prestige annual operating plans with focus on sales drivers and activations to achieve availability, visibility, value, and velocity activities and total NNS and volume growth targets.

      • Indirectly manage team of Prestige Sales Managers who will locally execute sales and marketing strategies for their respective markets. Ensure strategic imperatives and KPIs are achieved for PRUSA’s luxury brands.

      • Advancing luxury sales and marketing platforms, programs and initiatives while remaining consistent with brand essence/ strategy. Amplify brand integration with key influencer groups designed to maximize call and advocacy.

      • Planning, implementing, and evaluating all allocation, sales and marketing programming in the key luxury focus markets.

      • Overseeing the development and implementation of national Prestige commercial partnerships while ensuring adherence and compliance on commitments.

      • Managing Prestige team P&L, delivering profit targets and reinforcing PR USA’s ways-of-working.

      Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

      • Business analysis, Business planning and Sales performance: Manage Luxury Brand level P&L and deliver assigned profit target. Provide standard monthly updates on strategic imperatives to VP CSPP and CCO.

      • Drive accountability against ROI. Create AOP for Luxury Brands with a focus on local marketing, distribution, and account activation.

      • Budget/Forecasting: Set overall yearly budget. Ensure accurate monthly/yearly forecasting. Review and challenge forecasts monthly.

      • Marketing Initiatives: Create luxury brand marketing initiatives that will increase velocity in key accounts through customized promotion.

      • Management/Team Development: Drive corporate culture and accountability at every level. Set Performance standards. Communicate and drive execution of strategic imperatives. Develop a high performing team. Actively manage people through informal and formal check-ins.

      Nature & Scope


      Position typically works with CCO, RTM Management and Commercial Operations, as well as other key sales and marketing staff within the company (PRUSA, Brandcos, HQ) and key wholesaler partners. S/he is recognized for the mastery of all aspects of sales management, long and short-range business planning, motivation, and team building. Communication will include high-level contacts within and outside the company, and position has accountability for critical levels of company resources, including maintenance of distribution channels, and observance of sales management policies and activities. Incumbent plans activities for areas of responsibility on both a long-term and short-term basis, including strategic growth plans. Decisions will impact the entire organization, and errors may cause critical delays, inefficiencies, and expense to the organization.

      Requirements

      Education :

      • Requires bachelor’s degree and additional training in sales force effectiveness and sales and local marketing strategies.

      Experience / Background

      • 8-10+ years of previous sales management experience, preferably in the wine and spirits industry

      • Individual must also have experience in luxury and lifestyle sales/marketing and existing contacts in the luxury market.

      • Sales, distribution, and finance experience a must.

      • Prior people management experience required.


      Skills Necessary for Superior Performance

      A successful individual will demonstrate exceptional skill in critical thinking, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building, as well as a high level of problem solving and analytical reasoning. The ability to provide leadership to internal and external sales personnel, organize and manage work to achieve business results and track performance so that issues are detected early or prevented entirely is critical for success. This person must also be proficient in developing and executing long and short-range business plans that integrate sales and marketing efforts. Understanding of appropriate sales and local marketing tactics and their impact on volume growth and brand building is key to achieve business results.

      Working Conditions

      Frequent travel is required. Work is performed in a typical office environment, with limited demands for movement and lifting. Normal visual acuity required for correspondence and computer terminal usage. Must have valid driver's license.

      Travel - Frequent. Estimate: 40% – 50% of time
