- Support tasks and activities for Start of Day (SOD), End of Day (EOD) processes, Disaster Recovery (DR), and middleware software/hardware support for over 380+ applications .
- L1 Monitoring using centralized tools. (Moogsoft, Appdynamics and splunk).
- Troubleshooting moderate to complex issues relative to Application and Infrastructure components that L1 team supports. Infrastructure support
- Execute remediation tasks when issue occur. Contributing to team goals and taking on special assignments as needed
- Provide off hour, weekend support as needed.
- Metric gathering, generating reports, and monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing . Planning, maintaining, and supporting contingency systems and back-up data centers.
- UNIX Scripting, Automation Knowledge. ITIL Certified for Incident, Problem and Change Management. Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial.6-8 years of diverse experience in information technology required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Information Technology. Awareness of Technology SLA’s and OLA’s. Awareness of Technology Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including collaboration and analytical
- Infrastructure support/management experience in a Mainframe, Distributed Systems, Network and Storage.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint needed for metric report development and tracking.
- Windows server administration skills. Powershell and visual basic scripting. SQL administration and query
- Linux (RHEL), Apache, Tomcat Knowledge. Proficiency in Linux, Virtualization, Ansible and other automation tool and databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Vertica). Ansible knowledge with experience on writing minimum requirement scripts and good knowledge on Ansible Tower handling.

We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support to join our End Point Services team, and will work a Hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week in-office required). Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements. This role is located in New York, NY.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $66,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
