- Partner with the businesses, product teams and Agility leads to understand strategic objectives, direction and program composition required to support overall strategic goals, outline the problem to solve and expected results.
- Develop and manage integrated plans, working effectively at all levels and ability to prioritize across multiple work streams. Ensure that the program's objectives are met, manage interdependencies, and allocate resources across projects.
- Provide strategic direction, alignment with organizational goals, and coordination between different projects within the program and across all other programs of work
- From this, conduct discovery sessions to explore options, gain alignment on the preferred solution, scope, schedule, and key deliverables, and outline a comprehensive plan of delivery.
- Guide/ lead product, technology, design/DCE and data teams through Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodology – including discovery, solution, design, development and implementation sessions. Support the team in trouble-shooting, problem-solving, and identifying tradeoffs
- Identify and document risks, issues, impacts and dependencies between business, product and quad teams. Raise difficult issues with clarity and obtain required decision making.
- Lead and provide executive level summaries and overall program status updates.
- Maintain our control environment by ensuring programs and projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Control and other relevant firm-wide guidelines
- Maintains a deep knowledge of area product vision, strategy, roadmap, technical, and operational knowledge; Aligns with product owners and business owners to maintain/track roadmap. Manage cross team, cross product sprint dependencies & sprint goals
- Tracks all deliverables, releases, milestones, migrations; Measures key results expected versus actual and impact during launch/releases
- Manage stakeholder communications to ensure business needs are met, set and manage expectations through effective written and oral communication including release management
- 10+ Project Management and/or 3+ Program Management experience; Experience partnering with Technology to translate business and customer needs into user stories
- Broad program management experience, including understanding of tools, processes, and best practices
- Strategic – able to view broadly across programs of work, and in partnership with other PMO Program Managers, to map out and ensure holistic view and approach to work.
- Ability to influence and partners effectively across a global organization
- Time manager – protects team’s time and continually prioritizes to make the best use of capacity. Works lean and clean – implements PM processes in a way that adds value, creates discipline and moves the team forward without administrative burden
- Organizing force- brings together teams in focused way for constructive collaboration
- Proven ability to distill complex ideas into consumable and actionable materials
- Proactively identifies risk – looks ahead to identify and mitigate risks to the program; escalates responsibly

- Creates clarity- Clear communicator who removes ambiguity; able to digest multiple threads of information efficiently presenting a concise verbal and written summary of problem, solution options, actions required and status. Leading decision discussions and gaining full consensus from stakeholders; excellent presentation skills
- Proven leader such that all participating and impacted groups have confidence and trust that the program/project is being well-managed and will meet its deliverables in a timely manner. Strong inter-personal skills to inspire and motivate the teams and to instill confidence and trust within the business, operations, and technology teams
- PMP certification; Agile Certification
- Experience in the Travel business a plus
As a Vice President, Program Manager in Chase Travel PMO (CJI) you will will oversee and fully program manage one or more complex programs(s) of work that include multiple, high-risk, multi-thread/faceted initiatives that support key strategic goals for Chase Travel. You will have accountability for managing the broader, strategic perspective and overall success of the program of work, not just individual projects and identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks and blockers that leads to results.
You will be aligned to one or more businesses as their key Point of Contact for related work streams within all programs across portfolios, and partner across Chase Travel with business leads, Agility Leads, Product Owners, key functional partners, as well as our Connected Commerce Business partners including, Rewards, Card and Co/Brand.
