This VP will lead the risk transformation project office and team, which will include from time-to-time several short-fuse or strategic risk projects. The VP is also expected to participate as a subject matter expert in ensuring compatibility and suitable priority of transformation efforts. The Risk Transformation Program Manager will lead an experienced team of risk transformation / project managers to coordinate multiple MA Risk projects and engage stakeholders on dependencies beyond Risk.

      Role
The primary responsibility is to provide hands-on challenge, support and communication to coordinate multiple MA Risk projects and engage stakeholders on dependencies beyond Risk. This includes, but is not limited to:

      - Provide leverage to Risk leadership and workstream leads in structuring overall MA Risk transformation program by engaging on ‘content’ of risk management and leveraging prior risk and transformation experience.
      - Track and provide regular workstream and project progress updates to the Head of Risk Transformation and broader Risk team for working level and senior communication.
      - Balance resource, budget and approach to best achieve agreed outcomes and milestones, guiding project managers, analysts and other resources.
      - Manage stakeholders beyond Risk contributing to risk transformation outcomes, and manage dependencies with other pieces of work beyond Risk’s remit or with shared responsibility.
      - Maintain awareness of broader risk and risk related priorities across the organization, balancing key priorities and seek to adapt the transformation program where appropriate.
      - Act as subject matter expert and coordinate with peers on cross-cutting risk management themes.
      - Flexibly support broader program / project and risk management needs, including taking on Project Manager and Analyst tasks if needed to break through temporary bottle-necks.
      - Engage stakeholders across the 3LoD, teams and regions as appropriate, leveraging broader MA Risk and 3LoD leadership.
      - Proactively engage and brief executive management on risk transformation progress, achievements, challenges and asks.
