      Job Description


      This role is a key leadership position responsible for leading the successful operation of Accor safety and security across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific (MEA APAC).

      • Oversee all security operations, including emergency response, property protection, and business continuity
      • Develop and oversee a comprehensive security strategy to protect company assets, determine priorities, and allocate resources based on risk, operational needs, and company policies
      • Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability studies to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and develop action plans to mitigate them
      • Develop and implement cohesive policies, procedures, and training programs
      • Monitor travel policy and duty of care in conjunction with corporate security
      • Participate in crisis management committees and meetings and comply with industry regulations and codes
      • Perform regular safety analyses of business operations and enhancing current business practices
      • Prepare, deliver and present reports at key executive meetings
      • Create, monitor and achieve budgets, (ie travel, training, systems costs) ensuring that spending and budgeting are in line with business objectives and relevant legislation.
      • Ensure the safety and security of the organization’s personnel, property, and data
      • Conduct investigations and dispositions of security matters through relays in the region
      • Supervise regional relay security staff and implement emergency response plans
      • Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring security issues
      • Participate in the definition of the group's hotel safety policy, in conjunction with the other departments.
      • Lead the network of the group's security correspondents and participate in the group's crisis management team and, if necessary, in the group's crisis units
      • Organize the hotel security self-assessment process
      • Oversee the implementation of the passenger safety policy
      • Participates in the dissemination of the security culture within the Group and in raising employee awareness of the need to comply with existing procedures
      • Represents the Group in the various associations of which the Safety and Security Department is a member

      Qualifications


      • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in disciplines such as risk management, safety or business administration
      • At least 10 years' experience in a similar management role or regional position
      • Demonstrated ability of influencing senior stakeholders
      • Experience in the service industry and/or law enforcement and security services is desirable.
      • Demonstrates drive and determination to achieve results in an organized manner and with strong attention for detail.
