      Overview

      Governor Maura T. Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll are seeking a Video Producer/Editor to lead the creation of high-quality, compelling content for the Office of the Governor. The ideal candidate for this role has hands-on experience in filming and editing video, an interest in politics, and a keen sense of what drives engagement across social media platforms. Key res ponsibilities include producing and editing videos from events, livestreaming press conferences, and working with Cabinet offices to create other engaging video content for the Administration’s social media accounts.

      Key Responsibilities

      • P roduce , film and edit original video content for the Governor and Lieutenant Governor’s social media platforms .
      • Manage the Governor’s Office livestream and YouTube channel.
      • Capture B-roll of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor at events .
      • M aintain the Governor’s Office archive of raw footage.
      • Manage video remarks requests received by the Governor and Lieutenant Governor .
      • Collaborate with Cabinet communications teams to assist with digital shoots and event coverage as needed.

      Please note that this position will require frequent travel to all parts of Massachusetts . The Office of the Governor offers mileage reimbursements, but the Video Producer/Editor will be responsible for coordinating transportation.

      Requirements

      • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects.
      • Experience with professional camera, audio, and lighting equipment and other aspects of video production.
      • Experience filming events and on location.
      • Experience producing, filming and editing video content for social media.
      • Strong storytelling, visual communication and written communication skills.
