    • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Photography, Video Production, Kinetic Imaging, Advertising, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience;

    • Two to three years experience

    • Creativity and experience in producing print materials such as brochures, newsletters, posters, catalogs, book/booklets, system forms and other print materials needed by the system, network experience and overall printing knowledge;

    • Proficiency in the use of computer software including (ex. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and PageMaker software or equivalent FreeHand)

    • Effective multitasking and the ability to meet deliverable dates with high quality work

    • Be effective at building collaborative relationships, functioning as part of a team as well as working independently

    • Bachelor’s Degree Videography
    • Web Design experience
    • Experience with writing

    • Prior experience with graphic design

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in general use of a computer, the use of Email as a form of communication, and other job-specific equipment, software, and/or applications.

    • Utilizes computer publishing systems to create from concept to production (pre-press and camera-ready mechanicals, pre-flighting on disk for output) print pieces that relate given information to the purpose.

    • Communicates with customers throughout all processes of the project to provide quality work that meets or exceeds expectations.

    • Reviews projects with supervisor in order to maintain products and services within guidelines.

    • Effectively adjusts to technology changes.

    • Secures all phases of photography, video, audio, and production generates

    • Assists with the photography and videography production for the district

    • Operates, maintains, and sets-up all photography, video, audio and lighting equipment

    • Produces, edits, and publishes public-facing photo and video media in print and on division outreach platforms

    • Interviews individuals and attends meetings and events to obtain content

    • Establishes and maintains a cross-team organized content management system that enables ease of distribution and access to materials in electronic and print formats

    • Ensures that materials are translated into Spanish and other needed languages, and are published in coordination with the World Language Department

    • Other duties as assigned that are related to the functions of the position.

    • Ensures that programs are cost effective and that funds are managed prudently.
    • Develops and monitors the annual budget for the department.
    • Implements the policies established by federal and state laws, Department of Education rules, and local board policy in the area assigned.
    • Maintains emotional control under stress. Frequent district wide and statewide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours.

    • Creates a positive workplace culture.

      Position Summary: The Videographer oversees production services across the district; produces and provides promotional, educational, and event-based videos for viewing audiences internal and external to the district; manages the process for quality and efficiency relating to all assigned video productions. The Videographer will provide clear and positive video and audio images of the schools within the district and their communities and its activities which directly supports student learning and achievement. for all district publications to enhance effective communication of the district's messages to staff, students, parents and community.

      Minimum Qualifications:
      • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Photography, Video Production, Kinetic Imaging, Advertising, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience;
