Develop yourself on a much exciting and future oriented technical domain, getting ever more innovative and complex with the development of advanced Flight Control Systems, UAM concepts and UAVs.
Work-life balance with a 35-hour week (flexitime).
Mobile working after agreement with the department.
Occasional traveling between France and Germany (team workshops or events) is possible after consultation and agreement from the department.

Functional and mission requirements analysis.
Design of new systems and tools (design of new concepts and updating and monitoring of existing designs).
Simulation (predictive simulations for prototyping, off-line simulation piloted simulation, full flight simulators).
Verification through simulation and on real equipment.
Development of flight control laws.
Design specification of critical components and supplier follow-up.
Validation and verification, certification.
5 years of higher education (or equivalent) in automation, electro-technology and aeronautical engineering.
Engineer with a passion for aeronautical developments, able to take initiatives.
Experience with simulation tools.
Experience in flight control systems.
Rigor in following requirements.
Agile mindset in relation to different tasks, products and projects.
Open-mindedness.
International cooperation and team spirit.
Work on equipment (Simulators, Bench, Helicopters) on site.
Languages: Negotiation in English, Negotiation in French.
Desired: Knowledge in design tools (Scade / Matlab).

Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.
