      Description

      The Housekeeping Villa supervisor is responsible for assisting with leading the members of the Housekeeping Department and performing cleaning inspections. The Housekeeping Inspector represents the hotel to all guests, coordinating guest needs with other hotel departments utilizing the principles, policies and standards of Hulsing Hotels.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Assign rooms and villas on a daily basis when the executive housekeeper is absent to be cleaned by room attendants.
      • Inspect rooms/Villas that have been cleaned by room attendants and release them to the front desk when they are ready for the guest.
      • Inspect public areas for cleanliness regularly and assign projects as needed.
      • Ensure all lost and found items are logged and secured.
      • Assist with training of new hires in specified villas. Maintain an ongoing training program for existing staff.
      • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
      • Ensure all Villas are maintained and ready for check ins.
      • Report maintenance issues or items missing from villas.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications


      Knowledge and Skills Required:

      • High School Diploma or at least two (2) years of previous experience as a room attendant or another related field.
      • Must be team oriented, empathetic, friendly and show initiative.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
