      The VIP Guest Management team will support the Head of Protocol and Player Activation (HOPPA) to ensure a best-in-class guest experience at City Football Group/Manchester City FC match days and official Club events. With the Protocol department’s strategic invite and networking process, you will build on current relationships and create new links between the CFG Board and key stakeholders/external contacts.

      Your Impact

      1. MCFC HOME AND AWAY MATCH DAY PROTOCOL
      • Match day preparation (home and away) – liaise with department links to collate guest lists, produce briefing documents, prepare seating plans, send official invite and inform guests of match day itinerary and ticket collection information, ticket the game and distribute tickets accordingly
      • Home match day – manage guest list, arrivals and coordinate meet and greets, produce post-match report, log guest attendance and when required, deputise for HoPPA
      • Gain full understanding of CFG Leadership Team(s) and Board and assist with the coordination of their attendance (including guests) at games
      • Assist with logistics of UEFA Official Banquet and any additional UCL match day activities, travel to away games as required
      • Manchester City Tours – coordinate match day and travel on tour as required (UK, Europe and International Destinations)
      • Assist and support departmental projects, where necessary taking ownership of specific tasks

      1. CFG/ MCFC EVENTS AND NON-FOOTBALL RELATED EVENTS
      • Assist in smooth running of special events, including production of briefing documents, maintaining staff attendance database, distribution of tickets (concerts etc.) and where necessary onsite coordination at the event.

      1. EXTERNAL GUEST RELATIONS
      • Assist in continued development and implementation of City contacts, work with key internal departments to proactively identify business profile guests and to plan relevant activities to maximise the benefit of these guests to the Club and its members.
      • Ensure City VIP database is kept up to date, log all key guests who have attended a game and potential guests to invite.

      1. CLUB GIFTS
      • Coordinate appropriate and innovative gifts for guests on match days, tours and special events
      • Research suppliers and develop their use across the Club – gifts/ silverware etc.
      • Record gift giving and assist monitoring spend in line with budget

      1. CORRESPONDENCE AND CURRENT AFFAIRS IN SPORT
      • Keep up to date with current affairs in sport and maintain a calendar or key global fixtures, events and milestones so that the Club can appropriately communicate with other Clubs and individuals.
      • Coordinate Protocol and Club correspondence e.g. congratulating / condolence letters
      • Assist with research of cultural/ protocol guidance for international meetings and tours

      1. CLUB AMBASSADOR
      • Assist Club Ambassador with diary appointments, travel, match day requests and any additional requirements

      What we are looking for

      Essential

      • Experience in high level customer service
      • Strong communicator
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English
      • IT literate to a high level
      • Strong administrative skills

      Desirable

      • Hospitality/ Front of House/ VIP/ Protocol experience
