      As a Virtual and Augmented Reality Engineer, you will work on activities for New Technology Introduction and New Product Introduction projects within Innovation Engineering organization.

      As a Virtual and Augmented Reality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

      • Executing virtual and augmented reality activities to support and validate new products and new technology project's needs.
      • Clearly articulate design decisions to a vast set of internal stakeholders across functions involved.
      • Working collaboratively with Digital Technology and other partners for technology project from concept to completion
      • Maintaining an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in virtual and reality technologies to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution.
      • Communicating results by preparing written reports and making presentations describing analyses performed, solutions developed, and value obtained.
      • Managing and using virtual and augmented reality hardware to validate new technology from lab to production environment
      • Providing technical guidance, direction and training to other functions and co-ops.

      Fuel your passion

      To be successful in this role you will:

      • Have Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years experience in virtual & augmented reality engineer
      • Have knowledge of Industry 4.0 principles and technologies (Virtual & Augmented Reality)
      • Have knowledge of virtual and augmented reality software and development platforms
      • Have good competencies in virtual and augmented reality devices knowledge (projection systems, tracking cameras, head mounted and haptic devices)
      • Have experience in using 3D CAD tool (NX, VisMockUp, Aveva, Smart Plant)
      • Preferred Experience and understanding in Turbo-machinery products design, function, manufacturing and assembly.
      • Preferred experience and understanding of plant design, p&id, piping design, plant construction.
      • Have an experience in assembly tooling and fixturing.
      • Have a knowledge on virtual and augmented reality software and hardware application.
      • Knowledge on different CAD model formats, 3D model attributes and CAD conversion techniques.
      • Preferred work experience at shop-floor or production sites.
      • Highly motivated individual with Excellent communication and presentation skills.
