Job Description

- Participation in evaluating client needs based on client input.
- Supervising outside production and virtual companies and other vendors related to event, video & media production.
- Hands on producing of events, which may include; Calling cues, on-boarding presenters, developing and managing PowerPoint presentations etc.
- Management of: Virtual platforms, technical speaker support, scripts, production schedules / show flows, and creative. Once on-site: Audio/Visual equipment, labor, and staging.
- Management of visual graphics or media that support and enhance the event.
- Executive and talent coaching to garner the best on-camera or on-stage performance.
- Negotiating A/V pricing and contracts necessary to complete the work.
- Managing contracts and work orders necessary to complete the work.
- Budgeting: Estimating and reconciling all production related charges.
- Creating unique, innovative and distinct event experiences that serve to differentiate Schwab.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience successfully producing, developing, managing, budgeting, and executing the technical audio/visual production elements of live events.
- 5+ years’ experience successfully producing virtual events & webcasts.
- Experience with webcasting platforms such as ON24, WebEx Events and Brandlive.
- Extensive computer skills and in-depth experience with office suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 5+ years’ experience in successfully producing corporate video and film projects a plus. Examples helpful.
- Excellent executive communication skills; written, verbal, listening and presentation.
- Proven ability to evaluate, negotiate with and manage outside vendors related to event, video & multi-media production.
- The ability to analyze project goals and recommend appropriate resources to successfully achieve outcomes.
- Outstanding project management and time management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects under demanding deadlines.
- Ability to work on a team, inclusive of Senior Management, on establishing the strategic direction of a project and in developing new and creative ways of meeting the objectives.

About Events & Production Services
The Events and Production Services team designs and executes events, webcasts and media that recognizes Schwab's valuable client base and supports client relationships. Through strong partnerships within Schwab, with our clients and with the industry, the Events and Production Services team creates and executes industry-leading events that build and strengthen awareness, confidence and trust in Schwab's brand and strategic objectives.
You will work in conjunction with Event Managers to manage all aspects of virtual, in-person, and simulcast production needs for our various virtual and live events. These events range in size from 50 – 10000 participants. The majority of our in-person events you will be responsible for will take place in our Schwab Event Center located in our headquarters in Westlake, TX in the Dallas Metro area.
In this role you will be to work closely with business partners within Schwab to strategize, design and produce these meetings. You will analyze project goals and recommend appropriate resources needed to successfully achieve outcomes. You will also carry out complex assignments requiring an in-depth knowledge of technical event production as well as knowledge of the business.
Though your focus will be on virtual as well as in-person events happening in Westlake, TX, this role could require some travel.
