What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Model and train staff in Positive Behavior Support methodology
- Conduct behavioral assessments and provide analytic interpretations of results
- Design, monitor, and report on behavior plans
- Provide direct behavioral treatment through various therapeutic techniques
- Participate in committees related to behavior intervention and human rights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
- Two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
- Documented completion of 10 hours of annual training related to behavior supports
- Ability to read, comprehend, and effectively communicate simple instructions and information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Specialized training in applied behavior analysis principles
- Experience in crisis management procedures
- Familiarity with data entry and documentation standards
