What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate the use of cryptocurrency to fund and facilitate criminal activity in collaboration with prosecutors and investigators
- Provide expert testimony in grand jury proceedings and trials regarding blockchain analysis
- Conduct blockchain analysis to trace transactions and identify patterns of illicit activity
- Generate intelligence reports to support decision-making processes in criminal investigations
- Participate in training sessions and presentations to enhance team knowledge and skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in community work or related activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and investigative skills
- Knowledgeable in conducting open-source intelligence research and analyzing large data sets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with using commercial and open-source blockchain tracing tools
- Experience with internet infrastructure and online platforms such as Discord and Telegram
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
