What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the integration of BIM/VDC through all stages of a project
- Coordinate BIM processes with GCs and subcontractors
- Develop and implement CAD/CAM standards for shop fabrication and field installation drawings
- Provide manpower scheduling and value engineering options
- Monitor and report on scope metrics for VDC scopes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Full understanding of mechanical construction techniques and field limitations
- Experience with detailing and coordination software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, and Navisworks
- Proven experience leading and developing a team
- Project management skills, including scheduling and budget control
- Strong interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in MEP construction
- Familiarity with point layout software
- Knowledge of constructability principles
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
- Virtual design experience
