      This is an exciting role working within a team, ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of Edelman’s video conferences, virtual and in-person events. You will assist the team with conference and event preparation and act as a co-producer during live events when training has been provided.

      Key Accountabilities:
      • Be on hand to assist Edelman employees with video conferencing challenges and providing best practice training in virtual conferencing
      • Hand over knowledge in a clear and concise manner that is easily understandable for non-technical people
      • Support members of the team in implementing best practices and workflows for all technical requirements for meetings and events
      • Assist with meeting room setups and resets as requested and report any problems to the Head of Department
      • Assist with rigging, setting up equipment and moving furniture as required for all events
      • Co-produce events with the Virtual Events and Webinar Manager as well as be able to produce events alone will be required when training is completed
      • Technical management for events such as webinars, video conferences, livestreams, and live/hybrid events from planning to completion. This to include supporting speakers, presenters, panelists with technical help and setup
      • Troubleshoot event production issues on the go
      • Keep events equipment and meeting room kit up to date
      • Liaising with the Marketing team as required, and pooling resources from the rest of the Business Support team as and when necessary to deliver these meetings and events successfully
      • Respond to support requests via the Edelman Helpdesk, and ensure all requests are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Keep Helpdesk updated and close requests when they have been effectively completed in the shortest possible timescale and with the best levels of communication
      • Work closely with IT to keep knowledge levels up to date with the latest changes, and provide staff training as appropriate to strengthen self-sufficiency
      • Be professional, courteous and approachable at all times, with a 'can-do', customer-focused attitude and always follow-up to ensure lessons are learned and the service continually evolves and improves
      • Support wider Business Support/Workplace Experience team with day-to-day activities including courier booking, meeting room A/V support, office equipment maintenance (for example printers), company mobile phone support


      Experience:
      • Good working knowledge of collaboration applications (MSFT Teams, Zoom, Google Meet)
      • A strong technical aptitude for conferencing technology (Cameras, Sound, Microphones)
      • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
      • Familiar working with different time zones
      • Able to operate occasionally out of business hours when supporting events in different time zones

      • Interest in technology and industry trends

      • Willingness to learn new skills
      • Excellent time management skills


      Desired skills:
      • Experience in managing events and event technology
      • Working experience with video mixing and streaming applications (at least one of these: Wirecast, Vmix, OBS Studio, Vimeo’s Livestream Studio), including applying graphics for live production
      • A good understanding of live streaming and event production technologies such as NDI, RTMP, SRT
      • Understanding technical requirements for all hybrid events and advising on AV kit and set up
      • Working knowledge of sound mixing
      • PTZ camera operation
      • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications, namely: Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro
