What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform review of annuity applications and requirements
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding submitted business or issues
- Oversee client portfolios and provide escalated support and guidance
- Research and interpret investments within portfolios and educate clients
- Assist in sales practices and oversight of the account opening process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the financial services industry
- Minimum of three (5) years' experience in variable annuities and life insurance products
- SIE, FINRA Series 7, FINRA Series 66 or 63/65, and Insurance License required
- Advanced knowledge of annuity products, securities and banking industry, and investment concepts
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a call center environment or with customer service
- Knowledge of modern portfolio theory and asset allocation
- Familiarity with Capital market news and its impact on client accounts
- Understanding of AML and other Supervisory alerts
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
