What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct mental health and chemical dependency assessments for patients in the emergency department and inpatient units
- Monitor patient progress toward recovery goals and maintain required documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate with multiple facilities and health service organizations on admitting procedures and patient transfers
- Develop safety plans for patients and refer them to support services available upon discharge
- Train and orient new employees and audit clinical assessments of junior staff

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- 2-5 years of experience in mental health or related services
- Licensure as an RN, LCSW, or LPC
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Must reside in Missouri or Illinois

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Experience in telehealth services
- Knowledge of community resources for mental health support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with medical professionals
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
