      Position Purpose and Objectives

      Responsible for assisting new and potential members in identifying financial and lending needs through virtual channels. Utilize digital resources and other technology to drive new memberships; learn to manage risk and credit decisions; and service existing members through video software.

      Major Duties and Essential Functions

      1. To “deliver an unexpected experience” by consistently providing outstanding service to internal and external members with every interaction.
      2. Develop new virtual banking relationships through inbound and outbound video calling.
      3. Communicate frequently and proactively with potential and existing members using a variety of technologies including video and other provided solutions.
      4. Collaborate with local branch partners to maximize sales efforts and cross sell other products and services that the credit union offers.
      5. Process requests for memberships, depository accounts, loans, and account maintenance services.
      6. Evaluate credit information and requests to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
      7. Responsible to meet or exceed established sales and service goals.
      8. Maintaining CUTX internal control standards, including up-to-date knowledge on products, services, and marketing campaigns.
      9. Remain compliant with all financial regulations including: BSA, OFAC, Reg CC, USA PATRIOT Act, internal and external audit points, etc as they apply to the duties of the position.
      10. Complete other related duties as assigned.

      Education : High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

      Experience : Minimum 1-2 years or more of similar or related experience.

      Mathematical Ability: The level of ability required to perform math skills and operations.

      Basic

      Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

      Language Ability: The level of ability required to communicate and understand written and oral language.

      Typical

      Ability to use passive vocabulary of 7,000-9,000 words; read at a fast-paced rate; and define unfamiliar words in dictionaries for meaning, spelling, and pronunciation. Ability to write moderate to complex documents. Ability to communicate in complex sentences, using normal word order with present and past tenses and strong vocabulary. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
