What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage an inventory of claims to evaluate compensability/liability
- Conduct investigations to confirm coverage and determine liability, compensability, and damages
- Assess policy coverage for claims and establish reserve requirements
- Negotiate settlements within assigned authority limits

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1 year of claims handling experience
- Proven interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation abilities
- Ability to provide information clearly and build effective relationships
- Knowledge of legal liability, insurance coverage, and medical terminology preferred
- Willingness to travel for 2 weeks to the Plano, TX office for training

- 0-2 years of experience in claims handling or insurance-related field
