- Leverages expert understanding of deployment landscape, industry ecosystem, software stacks and adjacent technologies to develop and execute multiyear strategies that builds upon overall cloud routes to market initiatives.
- Synthesizes data about customer, partner business and technical requirements, addresses them with technical architecture, and demonstrates capabilities of Intel solutions through design sessions with the customer, partner.
- Cultivates Csuite relationships with customers and peer to peer relationships with ecosystem partners including CSPs, OEMs, SIs and ISVs.
- Assists account sales teams or leaders in guiding the customer through the sales process for Intel solutions, owning the technical relationship, and building creative solutions based on Intel technology.
- Works with the customers, technology partners, ISVs, SIs and BU development teams to create new solutions, software and services optimizations through technical engagement and utilization of Intel product capabilities across the solution stack.
- Builds customer success stories, documents solutions and best practices, guides, and trains peers on scaling across the organization and the industry.
- Enables development and growth of product features through customer feedback and proof of concept evaluations.
- Manages end customer technical relationships, provides technical expertise, and works with builders, partners, and Intel sales teams to drive Intel based product purchases.
- Exposure to telco cloud technologies and ecosystem providers.
- The ability to lead a sales engagement with a Tier 1 Wireless operator on Telco Cloud, vRAN/Open RAN and Cloud Server Providers business models and technologies.
- Influences, enables, and drives adoption and preference for Intel based solutions for (private, public, hybrid) cloud infrastructure and cloud, data services.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any other related fields.
- 5 years of experience in wireless base station design, product management or solution sales.
- 5 years of experience with selling to tier 1 wireless service providers.
- 10 years of experience with Base station product management or Base station systems, solutions design.
- Experiences in influencing sales
- Past success in working in a global matrixed organization.

Work model is Hybrid from TX, CA, AZ, OR, or any other USA locations, monthly travel is expected.
As a virtual RAN Solution Architect, you will be part of the newly formed Telco CoE within Intel Sales and Marketing. You will work closely with Intel Wireless Access Business Unit representatives, NEX Architects and relevant global account teams to promote the adoption of Intel Open RAN, and Virtualized RAN technologies and solutions. Your scope will range from assessing solution tradeoffs, to competitive analysis, to creating a TCO, to managing trials/innovation agreements with lead customers. You must be comfortable with both the technology and business aspects of Open RAN, virtual RAN and Cloud technologies. Experience with direct sales to global operators, and an ability to lead through a matrix organization will be instrumental for your ultimate success in the role.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, California:$203,990.00-$326,170.00S al ary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.About the company
