- Conduct virtual utilization review for patients and provide advocacy services
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate care is being provided
- Document all interactions and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with insurance companies to advocate for necessary treatments
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- 2+ years of experience in utilization review or healthcare advocacy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in utilization management or healthcare advocacy
- Experience working with telehealth platforms
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Familiarity with case management software
