Position Details
The Department of Biology at the University of Tampa invites applications for a full-time, non-renewable, non-tenure track position beginning in August 2025 and ending in May 2026. This position will have primary teaching responsibilities in Life Sciences for non-science majors and Introductory Biology for science majors (General Biology I and II, lecture and laboratory). Areas of expertise for this position are open.

The department is interested in attracting broadly trained biologists to complement the existing faculty in biology. Opportunities for collaborative research involving undergraduates and current members of the faculty are possible using research space and equipment that may be made available by on-campus collaborators.
PhD preferred (strong ABD candidates considered), prior teaching experience with undergraduates is desirable. A personal commitment to quality undergraduate teaching and advising is essential. A pplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Required Attachments
