FAES | Center for Food Animal Health-JMVisiting fellow will be involved in performing research in the Center for Food Animal Health Research Program on infectious diseases; research focus is enteric mucosal immunity; mucosal vaccines; rotavirus, calicivirus, and animal coronavirus infections and well as other pathogens; and the use of animal models for human viral diseases. Assists in writing manuscripts and progress reports. Assists with processing and analyzing data for writing abstracts and reports. Helps prepare research presentation slides, posters, reports and summaries. Located in Wooster, OH.
Additional Information:
80% Conducts lab experiments (cell culture, binding studies, immunology) independently and performs critical analysis of experimental data. Develops new procedures and assays as needed.
20% Prepares progress reports, scientific manuscripts, abstracts and presentations, slides, experimental protocols; maintain lab inventories, records and databases.
Required Experience - Experience working with enteric viruses.
Desired Experience - Knowledge in diagnostic and immunologic assays.
