      Job Description

      DPR Construction seeks a visual designer to join our Global Sales and Marketing Team. The designer will excel at transforming complex ideas into compelling visuals that engage, inform, and inspire. This role will collaborate with both corporate and regional teams to support on-brand targeted pursuit materials, sales content, and other deliverables that align with strategic goals.

      We are looking for a detail-oriented visual communicator who can work both independently and seamlessly with a team, as well as liaise with internal customers and external vendors.

      Success in this role requires in-depth knowledge of design principles, visual storytelling, creative problem solving, and collaborative communication. Successful candidates will feel comfortable working within the framework of a strong existing brand while producing customer-centric graphics that support strategic priorities.

      The position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

      • Protect and amplify the DPR brand through the creation of consistent and well-executed deliverables.
      • Collaborate with teams to translate complex or abstract ideas into polished visuals— infographics, icons, process graphics, etc.—that amplify the strategic messaging.
      • Evolve and improve visual tools and libraries to convey strategies in a clear, focused way.
      • Support ongoing sales content creation, organization and maintenance.
      • Develop relationships across teams and roles to cultivate connections and serve as a strategic partner.
      • Travel as needed to support strategic target pursuits.

      We seek a flexible, results-driven team player who can manage multiple tasks, set priorities, keep stakeholders informed, and consistently meet deadlines. A successful candidate must possess:

      • Degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent work experience.
      • 6+ years work experience in graphic design, presentation design, page layout; A/E/C industry experience a plus.
      • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and MS PowerPoint. Experience working with additional creative, visual, interactive, and multimedia tools a plus.
      • Proficiency with a PC and MS Office applications.
      • Demonstrated understanding of composition, typography, and color theory.
      • Demonstrated skill in page layout, visual storytelling and data visualization.
      • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strength articulating and gaining buy-in for proposed creative solutions with a variety of stakeholders.
      • Curiosity and critical thinking.
      • A collaborative and service-oriented attitude—must be motivated and flexible, able to interact and work with a variety of stakeholders.
      • Experience delivering files optimized for digital and print deliverables.

      California and Washington Applicants:

      In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Salary is just one component of DPR's total compensation package.
      Sacramento and San Diego Pay Range: $69,000-$119,000. Seattle and Southern California Pay Range: $76,000-$130,000. Bay Area Pay Range: $82,000-$141,000.
