      Volunteer Description:

      Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles.

      Six month commitment
      Must be 16 years or older

      Provide novel musical entertainment (instrumental only) for patients, families, and guests at the bedside, waiting rooms or public areas. Volunteer must demonstrate competency with skills noted on attached document.

      Must be able to work alone and independent (within scope of assigned duties). Able to work well with diverse populations. Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to recognize boundaries and limitations of duties and not act independently of those functions.

      1. Instrumental Proficient (demonstrated at time of selection)

      2. Instrument(s) and music selection must be appropriate to hospital environment and/or holiday season

      3. Adaptable with providing music in lobby, hallway or patient areas
