      As a Barclays Vice President of USCB you will work closely with others to develop significant client relationships and lead delivery of the BIA US Consumer Bank Audit Plan. The jobholder will be accountable for providing assurance of the effectiveness of the US Consumer Bank business operations controls to the Board Audit Committee and other key stakeholders.

      What will you be doing?

      • Managing and executing of audit work
      • Maintaining and performing risk assessment of the audit universe and audit coverage strategy
      • Performing continuous monitoring of relevant business areas in the US Consumer Bank, including products, operations, and related digital bank activities
      • Monitoring, following-up on and assessing the resolution of audit issues
      • Contributing to the audit opinion
      • Contributing to evaluating the enterprise risk framework, policies and standards
      • Contributing to evaluating the management control approach and control environment of relevant business areas

      What we’re looking for:

      • Significant years’ experience in banking, including consumer banking and operations
      • Five years’ experience of risk and control in the Americas
      • Over three years’ experience of leading audit teams and developing audit plans in a global organisation
      • Over three years’ experience of developing and maintaining relationships with executive management

      Skills that will help you in the role:

      • Track record of success/high performance in a large, matrix organisation
      • Evidence of driving change/leading business initiatives/contributing to team and function strategy
      • A knowledge of Data Analytics and Agile, including how to apply these to Audit
