Working closely with CNBU leadership to profitably lead the overall PnL to exceed strategic targets.
Drive increasingly valuable relationships with key customers, OEMs, ecosystem and distribution channel partners that enable future innovation combined with business development in partnership with the Micron Sales organization.
Evangelize long term Customer development and engagement plans with a clear focus on ‘customer intimacy’ at our key partners through deep engagement with customer system architects and technical decision makers.
Define market requirements for outstanding memory solutions and differentiated solutions to lead the industry and empower innovation.
Develop and drive partnerships, strategies, and support with Ecosystem partners to enable future business success metrics.
Establish effective financial and business analyses and processes to rationalize and prioritize next generation product introductions.
Partner closely with Micron sales, supply chain, quality, and planning organizations to ensure strong alignment with future demand and capacity output.
Ensure partner organizations inside Micron are effectively engaged to resolve customer issues and support compliance requirements.
Develop pricing strategies and guide price negotiations in partnership with the Micron Sales organization.
Collaborate with Sales leadership to achieve outstanding quality of design win opportunity visibility and tracking.
Work with analytics, decision science, and business operations to ensure return on investment for engineering and applications efforts.
Effectively and equitably lead and empower diverse team members and partners to exceed ambitious goals while investing in their development to improve their capabilities and enable career growth.
Develop highly capable business development team members through coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities.
Continue to be a change agent within Micron and the industry that enables future business success and enhanced customer experience and innovation.
Degree in Engineering or related field
MBA is preferred.
The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of progressive, marketing leadership and industry experience.
Extensive experience in semiconductor business with direct experience in memory and storage solutions.
Strong influencer with ability to develop strong working relationships in a matrixed, global environment, ability to establish a high level of credibility across functional lines of business internally and with external customers.
A consistent track record of developing talent and inspiring/motivating teams to get results and business outcomes across regions.
Demonstrated track record in driving organization, processes, and executive stakeholder engagement to deliver exceptional results in complex global environments.
Executive presence: a polished, eloquent leader that exercises senior-level judgment with the ability to inspire confidence among senior leaders and collaborators internal and external to the company.
Deep understanding of competitive dynamics and strategies of key industry players, technical and other differentiated capabilities required to win in the marketplace in the semiconductor industry.
Demonstration of excellent communication skills, both written and verbal—communicating effectively with customers, executives, leaders, program/initiative owners, partners, and team members.
Enthusiastic proactive self-starter that is organized and can define goals and prioritize your and your team’s work in a dynamic and at times ambiguous environment.
Proven success leading business units with P&L responsibilities.

The Compute & Networking Business Unit ( CNBU ) seeks a Vice President to lead the Segment Marketing Groups , which has responsibility for Networking, Enterprise, Cloud , and Client Segment s . The role will directly report to the S VP & GM of CNBU . The team’s primary charter is to optimize P&L for all segments within CNBU. CNBU is responsible for DRAM products including DDR4, DDR5, LP, HBM , Graphics and CXL that provide valuable solutions to our customers. It is the largest BU within Micron by revenue.
In this role, the VP of Segment Marketing will lead a distributed team of approximately 35 professionals with clear accountability for all customer-facing business activities including growing customer intimacy, market sizing, business development, business marketing, and translating the broadening requirements of the data center , enterprise , networking, and c lient market. As the voice of CNBU , you will work closely with Micron corporate marketing and branding teams as well as field sales organizations to communicate key messages and thought leadership to the industry and achieve/ exceed our business results.
Location : Boise or San Jose .

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$290,680.00 - $334,988.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
