      Role Summary/Purpose:

      Reporting to the SVP, Retail Deposits CFO, this role will be responsible for deposits pricing strategies, pricing committee materials and customer segmentation of the deposit portfolio. This role will be a critical player in cross functional process applying a disciplined analytical decision process, and focus on driving profit and market share growth. The individual contributes to the end-to-end pricing management process. Key partners include Product Management, Finance, Treasury, Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Marketing.

      Essential Responsibilities:

      • Own pricing and analytics for Consumer deposit products and ensure that deposit products reach funding and growth objectives. Develop test and learn strategy to implement new product and pricing strategies for deposits (Savings, MMA, CD’s and transactional accounts).

      • Become power user of the Curinos Analyzer and Optimizer tools to drive pricing segmentation data modeling and analytics. Build deposit vintage curves including maintaining model governance requirements.

      • Own development of retention pricing strategies working with Marketing and leveraging Curinos Amperlo tool for segmentation offers.

      • Own market intelligence including monitoring of industry deposit pricing trends. Participate in Curinos CDA and cross bank forums for knowledge share. Develop and own reporting on performance trends for overall deposit industry and key peers. Perform research of key competitors using SEC and regulatory reporting data sets.

      • Oversee Direct Deposits Pricing Sub-Committee process, coordination, and own end to end process process. Own correlation trends with pricing actions; prepare and present materials for pricing committee and other executive audiences.

      • Support pricing and product initiatives and work with strategic initiatives, product and marketing partners to deliver value proposition promises while maintaining financial targets. Key partners include Product Management, Strategic Initiatives, Finance, Treasury, Technology, Operations, Legal, Treasury Risk and Marketing

      • Understanding of Agile methodology and working with Core deposit platforms (FISERV) to drive pricing capabilities and user experience

      • May also engage with external consultants and vendors

      • Collaborating closely with partner teams, including Finance, Liquidity / Balance Sheet Management, and Marketing to improve forecast processes and dependencies.

      • Partner with Product Finance team on all in cost of funds and marginal cost of funds analysis to drive profitability reporting for the Deposits business

      • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

      Qualifications/Requirements:

      • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years financial planning & analysis; OR in lieu of Bachelor's degree, 12 years of experience in financial planning & analysis

      • 3 years minimum consumer banking experience.

      Desired Characteristics:

      • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related field
      • 3+ years of experience with deposit products and/or finance, product management or marketing analytics
      • Demonstrated ability to handle manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

      • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills

      • Understanding of marginal cost of funds, competitive dynamics and financial planning basics
      • Familiarity with Curinos Analyzer and Optimizer tools, formerly known as PriceTek
      • Experience using large quantities of data from various sources and performing advance analytics to drive decision-making
      • The inherent motivation to provide continuous improvement using both business and analytical acumen; detail oriented and the ability to manage controls and governance routines
      • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while carrying multiple projects at any given time
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work cross functionally and communicate with all levels of the organization
      • Proven leadership abilities, influencing skills, and the ability to lead/engage on cross-functional project

      Grade/Level: 13

      The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

      Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

      Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

      Eligibility Requirements:

      • You must be 18 years or older

      • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

      • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

      • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

      • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
