- Leading and inspiring your global IT team, along with your business partners, to evaluate new technology trends, develop compelling business cases, build strategic roadmaps, and ideate and innovate compelling solutions that maximize return on investment for OpenText.
- Operating, scaling and transforming the application portfolio that supports the internal operations of OpenText for departments including Finance, Human Resources, Professional Services / Customer Success, and Legal.
- Driving the cultural changes necessary to transform the internal software development lifecycle to focus on increased agility and quality, increased automation, reduce time to deliver, and usher in a continuous delivery approach. You will set the new strategies for “ways of working” that improves velocity while maintaining a strong focus on quality and scalability; Agile, DevOps, Test Driven Development, Test Automation, etc.
- Forming strong, lasting relationship with business leaders in IT and across the enterprise. Advise, counsel, and educate leadership on opportunities to leverage technology to effectively meet business goals.
- Providing insights, developing, and delivering M&A integration programs. Through your experience, you know your way around due diligence cycles, pre-close processes and how to identify red flags.
- Creating and fostering partnerships with our vendors and advisors.
- Getting stuff done and outperforming against our business leader’s expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience managing and/or directing within the Information Technology field.
- 10+ years’ direct experience supporting ERP, HRIM and Service Management applications required
- Current Senior leadership tenure that includes primary responsibility for enterprise application systems strategy, delivery, and support.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale application selection and implementation projects, and related budgets and global teams. RFI to RFP to SOW Definition to Project Execution and Delivery.
- Broad technical knowledge of enterprise applications, system architecture, application integration and object-oriented languages. Extensive experience in all stages of the software development life cycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Solid understanding of key business and technology disciplines including strategy, governance, Business Analysis, Project Management, Quality Assurance, SDLC, and DevOps.
- Understanding of emerging trends and experience in iPaaS, IaaS, Containerization, and other leading cloud strategies.
- Must have professionalism, integrity, and dedication, a high level of energy, and excellent critical thinking, creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
