      Job Description

      Focus Features is currently conducting a search for a Vice President of Marketing Creative Services. This position will manage the finishing and post-production workflows for all A/V marketing materials for worldwide theatrical and home entertainment titles. This position supports our Focus Features business and our Focus Features filmmakers and marketing executives.

      Essential Responsibilities:

      • Oversee Trailer and TV Spot finishing
      • Liaison with internal creative advertising clients
      • Have direct interaction with filmmakers to ensure materials are to their standards in terms of mix and color
      • Oversee an in-house finishing team as well as manage post-production vendor relationships
      • Manage both domestic and international versioning and localization
      • Support the Digital Marketing team
      • Coordinate with the media team for network deadlines and clearances
      • Liaison with the MPA for advertising approvals
      • Verify legal and music clearances
      • Deliver materials to trade shows and industry events
      • Manage schedules and deadlines
      • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed

      Qualifications

      • 7 years minimum experience in film post production
      • High level experience with broadcast/film finishing materials
      • Familiarity with feature editorial and VFX pipelines
      • Demonstrated past experience leading, managing, training and motivating a multi-person team
      • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple, high priority tasks in a fast-paced environment
      • Demonstrated interpersonal and diplomatic skills, including the ability to work successfully within a collaborative team environment, interact with a wide range of personalities/styles and establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization

      Eligibility Requirements:

      • Must be willing to work at the Universal Pictures Universal City office
      • Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation
      • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
      • Must be 18 years or older
      • Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

      Desired Characteristics:

      • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
      • Must have strong organizational skills

      Additional Requirements:

      Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

      Salary range: $175,000-$225,000 (bonus and LTI eligible)
