- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital technology and software strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives. Combine creativity and analytical thinking to lead identifying solutions where technology, business, and user needs intersect.
- Lead the technology and software design and development of user-centered digital experiences, including websites, mobile apps, Interactive Voice Platforms, Text/Chat/Messaging, and online platforms
- Assist Product line managers in optimization of digital member journey, utilizing data and insights to continually improve the user experience
- Provide leadership and guidance to the digital team, including hiring and training staff. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Working with a team of highly skilled IT professionals to continuously understand and translate consumer expectations into highly usable and engaging digital experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and technology, to drive growth and ensure digital initiatives are aligned with overall business strategies, regularly partner with leaders from other areas of the business including to ensure SCCU standards are upheld in the product presentation to our members.
- Stay current with emerging digital technologies and trends, and evaluate and recommend new technologies that can enhance the member experience
- Researching, analyzing, and executing strategies and tactics to increase online application start and completion rates, driving member acquisition and improving the onboarding process.
- Ensure compliance, security, and usability are top of mind
- Develop and manage the budget for the digital platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, such as digital marketing, web development, or computer science.
- 10- 15 years of experience in a digital leadership role required, preferably in a financial institution with a proven track record of successfully leading and executing digital initiatives including a minimum of 5 years leading a team developing and deploying digital strategies and Omni-channel experiences for members and improving the members’ journey through digital channels.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, including website development, mobile app development, and online platforms. Preferred experience managing both on-shore and off-shore development team relationships.
