      Vice President - Division Controller
      Full-Time On-Site Position
      Location - Quorum Health Corporate Office - Brentwood, TN

      General Summary:

      The Vice President Division Controller will be a key member of the corporate leadership team. This individual will help facilitate efficient hospital operations, provide needed support to hospital finance personnel and act as a liaison between the hospital and corporate teams.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Take the lead with approving position request that come through in Ultipro verifying data to support the posting is adequately supplied via a grid on the shared drive and that the request itself is properly completed
      • Approve Contract Labor request that come through the portal from HealthTrust Workforce. Again, verifying data / support that is supplied via the grid on the shared drive and the approval should move forward.
      • Participate on MOR calls and provide support/questions as needed
      • Assist in the budget preparation process and analysis
      • Promote standardization across the operation units in terms of:
        • Departments/units selected to record operational data
        • Stat creation/selection/input
        • Where hours are recorded for certain personnel
        • Share best practices across sites
      • Create analytics as needed to support on-going operations and promote efficiencies
      • Providing training resources as needed for new finance operations people that join the organization
      • As time allow audit facility Balance Sheets for appropriateness
      • Coordinate with the field and provide support as needed. That support could take the form of: (Not all inclusive)
        • Assisting with ROI calcs/data for capital request
        • Assisting with questions on productivity and staffing concerns
        • Coordinating with Supply Chain resources on vendor selections
        • Helping to analyze net revenue fluctuations and/or variances to budget
        • Coordinating with Revenue Cycle resources on questions / concerns
        • Budget preparation

      Work Experience, Education and Certifications:

      • Bachelor's degree required, Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Law, Nursing, or other applicable field is preferred
      • 5+ years of experience in hospital financial operations in a hospital or corporate level setting
      • Effective working knowledge of healthcare systems management, hospital management, and healthcare financial management
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
