- Oversee, direct, and manage the company's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and risk management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and systems that align with the company's overall business strategy and objectives.
- Lead the FP&A team to provide critical financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team for decision making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Present and report accurate and timely historical financial information to the company's board members, stakeholders, and executive team.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and manage the preparation of management reports.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Financial Analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations, as well as experience in managing and communicating with stakeholders and investors.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
