      What Will You Be Doing?

      Senior Team Member responsible for leading a rapidly growing team of 32,400+ Flight Attendants and supervisory Team Members to deliver industry-leading safety, operational reliability, and customer experience-centric service to Frontier’s customers through consistent execution. The Vice President is responsible for overall departmental strategy and vision to recruit, train, and develop superlative Flight Attendants and for providing them with the tools, policies, and procedures to deliver Low Fares Done Right to our customers. The role is also responsible for providing an industry-leading Ultra Low-Cost onboard retail program and an exceptional Inflight experience for Frontier’s customers.

      Essential Functions

      • Overall leadership of the Inflight Operations, Administration, Standards, Training and Onboard retail/Catering departments.
      • Conceive and develop strategies and initiatives to improve safety, operational performance, customer service and the profitability of Frontier’s onboard product program.
      • Partnership with Human Resources Talent team to develop and support all aspects of Flight Attendant recruiting.
      • Develop and manage candidate-centric onboarding and training of new-hire Flight Attendants and recurrent training of existing Flight Attendants.
      • Partner with union leadership to further shared objectives and resolve differences.
      • Develop and manage a robust Inflight Quality Assurance program to ensure that Federal Aviation Regulations and internal standards and practices are met or exceeded on an ongoing basis.
      • Develop technology solutions to support company and departmental objectives.
      • Establish departmental goals and initiatives and measure each department’s success in executing established goals and initiatives.
      • Responsible for the hiring and professional development of departmental leaders.
      • Serves as an advocate for Frontier’s largest employee workgroup and champions frontline recognition efforts and performance standards.
      • Oversees Frontier’s Onboard Retail program to ensure annual commission targets are achieved.
      • Manage departmental budgets.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution of higher learning; a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
      • 10+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a similar corporate work environment
      • Extensive experience with collective bargaining agreement interpretation and application
      • Prior large multifunction budget preparation experience
      • Deep knowledge of the airline industry with specific experience leading Inflight operations, standards and training, safety and quality assurance programs and catering operations

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

      • Mastery of all aspects of a Flight Attendant’s role and daily job duties
      • Comprehensive knowledge of the airline industry, including Inflight operations, and common work rules and practices
      • Excellent knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations as they relate to Inflight training and operations
      • Ability to promote positive attitudes and company loyalty within a large (2,000+) employee group
      • Professional demeanor with the ability to model dedication and support for company goals
      • Excellent interpersonal skills evidenced by the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
      • Ability to define problems and work through solutions in a team building, non-threatening manner
      • Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and team building skills with large employee groups
      • High level of initiative, strong team-building skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
      • Demonstrated diplomacy in partnering with other departments and constituents to advance sometimes conflicting objectives
      • Creative, confident leader with quick decision-making skills capable of working in a fast-paced environment with integrity
      • Expertise in Inflight policies and procedures, attendance control, Flight Attendant Manual development, Emergency Response and onboard sales program development and management
