      TTI, Inc. is looking for a Vice President, Legal at our Corporate office in Northwest Fort Worth, TX.

      The VP, Legal will report to the Senior Vice President, Global Ethics & Compliance/General Counsel. This senior-level executive will take a leading role in the build/evolution of a robust, sophisticated global compliance framework (policies, procedures, tools) and strategy to support the organization’s growth in size and complexity.

      ACCOUNTABILITIES

      • Legal Guidance. Serving as a trusted legal counsel to the leadership team, and reporting directly to our SVP, Global Ethics and Compliance/General Counsel, with oversight responsibility for a broad range of legal and general management issues, including achieving the company's overarching strategies and potential risks and issues in the following areas: commercial agreements, regulatory, risk management, privacy and data security, marketing, litigation, employment/HR, and others as may arise in the course of business
      • Commercial Contracts. Lead a team that drafts, reviews, and negotiates all contracts and agreements on behalf of the company, including customer agreements, supplier contracts, statements of work, NDAs, and other agreements.
      • Compliance. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations relating to our business and privacy rights and obligations, data management and security, and professional responsibilities.
      • Outside Counsel. Coordinate and supervise outside counsel whether engaged on a project basis or to represent the company with respect to the resolution of potential claims against the company, asserted claims or other legal proceedings. In cooperation with the GC, negotiate billing agreements and review invoices.
      • Risk Management. Ensure appropriate insurance coverage is in place to protect the business.
      • Corporate Governance. Manage and protect the company’s IP, including staying involved in evolutions of the business both on the technology and product side. Manage entities, ensuring all corporate registration requirements and renewals are current and maintained.
      • Strategic Thought Partner. Obtain and maintain a strong knowledge of our business and strategic objectives. Counsel leadership with respect to the legal implications of major decisions, strategies, and transactions

      EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

      • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school required with admission to the bar in Texas. 10+ years of experience in a top tier law firm and 5+ years’ prior managerial experience preferred.

      SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

      • Solution-oriented Partner: A successful track record of working closely with and providing legal counsel to a senior leadership team, optimizing legal advice for business needs.
      • Breadth of Relevant Legal Experience: Strong legal skills and analysis with ability to effectively identify and communicate risks and guidance to others, with experience across diverse areas of law including contracts, intellectual property, employment, litigation, mergers & acquisitions, and complex commercial transactions.
      • Flexible: Willingly tackles new tasks and legal situations with urgency. Able to get up to speed on new areas of law quickly and effectively, can collaborate and make recommendations in real time.
      • Strategic Thinker: Beyond having the requisite skills and knowledge qualifications, a successful candidate will have high levels of self-motivation, adaptability, critical thinking, analysis, and creative problem-solving.
      • External Relationship Driver: Experience selecting, engaging, and monitoring outside counsel and third-party vendor relationships, and establishing procedures for evaluating the quality and cost of outside counsel and necessary vendors.
      • Entrepreneur mindset: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment; able to manage situations with tight timelines and limited information; Balances conscientiousness with efficiency.
