      Role Summary:

      The Integration & Separation Management Office is seeking a motivated leader who combines strong program management skills with M&A experience for the position of VP, M&A Integration and Separation Management Office. This role will support the integration and operational carve out related aspects of acquisitions and divestitures across all phases of the from target origination to delivery of integration as well divestiture deal prep to final carve out execution.

      The right candidate enjoys working in an exciting, fast-paced, and collaborative environment where no two days are the same. This role will work with executives and staff across all of TR functions as well as external stakeholders to execute the transaction goals. The role will be highly visible and requires regular interaction with senior leadership.

      About the Role :

      In this role as VP, M&A – Integration & Separation Management Office , you will be:

      • Responsible for integration / separation related coordination across all workstreams to support the full transaction lifecycle through Integration and Divestiture efforts on an individual project level but also simultaneously across various projects.
      • Inform Integration and Separation considerations during the initial transaction phases and provide senior leaders with subject matter expertise on Operational Due Diligence
      • For integrations, coordinate with Strategy, Corporate Development, Business sponsors / Product teams and other functions during initial phases of the transactionton to design the integration roadmap in line with transaction goals.Help drive towards initial cost estimates for envisioned integration activities
      • For separations, support Product Portfolio Management and Corporate Development team before and during the transaction by providing input related to operational separation topics.
      • Development of new principles and concepts by advancing technology, theories and concepts and contribute to further developing and evolving Thomson Reuters framework and approach related to integrations and divestitures. Ensure broad access to foundational principles to drive internal awareness and understanding of approach and drive early engagement of the IMO and SMO team.
      • Ensure effective communication to relevant and/or impacted internal or external stakeholders.
      • Actively identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the program and ensures stakeholders have information to make effective decisions.
      • Optimize assignment of resources and make recommendations as needed. Unblock obstacles to required separation activities through strong stakeholder coordination and engagement.

      About You:

      To be considered for the role of VP, M&A – Integration & Separation Management Office , you will need to have:

      • Minimum of +7 years in M&A experience, including coordination of programs of cross-functional and global nature with a focus on technology and / or commercial areas either as part of an internal Corporate Development / strategy team, a global advisory firm or within Investment Banking
      • Strong transaction experience related to origination, Due Diligence and Day 1 execution
      • Ability to manage global programs and initiatives with significant complexity and risk for the impacted Business units and function.
      • Bachelor degree required in engineering, computer science, business, or related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
      • Broad knowledge across functional areas with the strong ability to identify interdependencies early and drive resolution.
      • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
      • Experience with financial project budgeting and controlling.
      • Proven ability to build relationships with, and influence all levels within an organization, from senior management to technical and non-technical personnel.
      • Knowledge of Thomson Reuters products, services, or content a plus.
      • Strong/excellent oral and written communication skills, including composing and presenting business and technical material to technical and non-technical audiences.
