      Description


      The VP, Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, development, implementation, and/or coordination of all the Bank's marketing strategies including branding, social media and digital presence, website, marketing materials, and public relations activities, both external and internal. This position manages all other personnel in the marketing department and requires exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, judgment, and confidentiality. This position requires that the individual work in office, independently, and with minimal supervision.


      Ensures compliance within all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.


      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Manage all team members of the Marketing Department and ensure all objectives of the department are met
      • Develop and maintain collateral materials including advertisements, flyers, brochures, etc.
      • Coordinate the appearance of all Bank print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, flyers, etc. for consistency of brand
      • Update content on the Bank's website, internet marketing, and social media, including branding, social media incorporation, all content and copy accuracy for Bank and community levels
      • Develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy to align with the company's strategic goals
      • Define the most important social media KPls and measure the success of social media and digital marketing initiatives
      • Incorporate CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) opportunities into the Bank's marketing strategies
      • Assist branches in the marketing, communications, and positioning of their products, services, and activities
      • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for outside vendors and internal management members related to advertising and media
      • Plan and attend internal and external events to ensure proper bank representation
      • Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, communications and public relations and use this information to help the Bank operate with initiative and innovation
      • Work with senior management, branch staff and others to develop and maintain a strategic perspective, based on marketplace, bank direction, and programs and services
      • Minimum of 10 hours CRA volunteer hours per year. Volunteer hours are typically scheduled within business hours. This is compensable time and mileage is reimbursed
      • Other duties as assigned

      Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages marketing employees and external vendors and acts as liaison with advertising agencies and media outlets


      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or related field, or equivalent experience
      • Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on digital communications/marketing experience required (including social media, website, online communication design/development, copywriting)
      • Highly proficient in social media outlets including, but not limited to, Linkedln, Facebook and lnstagram
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required
      • Proficiency in Adobe Design Standard Software and other technical software
      • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and exceptional written communication skills
      • Strong project management skills, well-organized, with an excellent eye for detail
      • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
      • Have an excellent ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and tasks in a fast­ paced environment to successfully meet deadlines
      • Ability to travel to various locations
      • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

      Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment:


      The incumbent in the course of performing this position frequently spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, operating basic business equipment, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, walking, standing, reading documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, client contact, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, multiple concurrent tasks, and frequent interruptions. The incumbent for this position will occasionally lift up to 15 pounds, pull, squat, kneel and reach. The incumbent is in a non-confined office-type setting in which they are free to move about at will. The work environment is typically quiet to a moderate noise level.


      Travel: There will be occasional local, out-of-area, and overnight travel.
