- Establish a long-term strategy for marketing measurement and analytics that incorporates multiple data sources across SECU systems, communications, and marketing efforts
- Measure, understand, and communicate the impact of marketing investments
- Raise the marketing data driven maturity of the organization with emphasis on self-serve and automation
- Define and deliver new reporting standards, methods, and support models for internal stakeholders
- Uncover new analytical models, tools, and applications that can add incremental value to the organization
- Own analytics for performance, engagement, and reputation
- Contribute to cross-functional data teams and help manage data acquisition, handling, and governance processes
- Manage partners, agencies, and contractors to input data sources into consistent framework.
- Calculate ROI across search, display, mobile, social, and offline marketing channels
- Create predictive models and metrics for member personalized messaging / campaigns/ tailored help / and targeted offers
- Track and analyze data to discover meaningful trends and present to key audiences a routine basis
- Transform data into rich, meaningful, relevant insights that can be used to make strategic recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Create compelling, persuasive presentation materials to communicate key learnings and recommendations clearly and concisely
- Identify opportunities for data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with internal business units / clients
- Lead and support special projects as needed
- Hire, lead, and develop an expert marketing analytics and research team.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years related work experience
- Experience using traditional and digital media monitoring tools and related metrics reporting
- Strong analytical and quantitative background with expertise in measurement planning and experiment design. Test Design: A/B, Multivariate
- Proven ability to use data and analytics to evaluate assumptions, deliver recommendations, and move business metrics
- Familiarity with analytics applications for marketing technology, including personalization engines, customer data platforms, multichannel campaign management hubs and content marketing platforms
- Experience incorporating offline (e.g., point-of-sale) and external online (e.g., CRM) data into an online marketing campaign analysis
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with excellent attention to detail
- A self-starter and problem solver, with a positive attitude and strategic mind capable of creative thought and executing new ideas
- Broad and deep knowledge of marketing promotion methods, best practices, and marketing leading techniques
- Ability to build the data literacy and self-serve skills of dependent stakeholders to free up repeat analysis time / ad hoc question answering or dashboard curation.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, data visualization tools, social listening, ad managers, querying big data platforms, and SAS/SQL
- Aptitude to nurture and develop analytics talent
- Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects across internal teams
- Leadership ability with prior managerial experience
- Team player and highly collaborative

- Qualtrics experience
- Python or R and machine learning experience

As Vice President of Marketing Analytics at SECU, you will lead the marketing data and research team in developing and managing the measurement, analytics framework, and strategy for marketing data to support organizational goals, evaluate marketing performance, and optimize member experience. This includes taking a hands-on approach in building, leading, and collaborating with internal clients to implement tools and infrastructure to collect first-party data, as well as measure and track relevant KPIs including brand reputation, campaign metrics, media reporting, channel performance, social media listening, event and sponsorship ROI, and member engagement. You will visualize and model data to forecast and scenario plan optimal marketing performance and investment. A leader within the department, this role will be closely connected to the larger Marketing, Communications, and Outreach team and should be able to work in collaboration with IT, Digital Services, InfoSec, Legal and data owners/analysts from across the entire organization. It requires a passionate consumer advocate dedicated to leveraging data to deliver valuable, personalized marketing through a seamless and easy user experience. The ideal person for this role should be experienced in working with unstructured data, an expert in data privacy regulations and associated technology and processes including consent and preference management and its impact on first party data, comfortable integrating data from a variety of systems and sources, and capable of translating data into meaningful stories and actionable insights.
