The Role

Reports into our Chief Marketing Officer

This role sits with in our SEO Chapter which focuses on SEO as well as supporting the wider customer acquisition strategy for the portfolio.

This role also has a team of 5 SEOs; 2 of which are a direct report - with a remit to grow the team over the next 18 months

Your key responsibilities

• You are accountable for Blexr’s customer acquisition vision (12 months+), translating the business vision into a tangible portfolio strategy and ensuring its successful implementation to impact business results.
• Your responsibilities include fostering, creating and influencing alignment and priorities across the company to achieve business and people goals.
• As a leader, your role is to instil purpose, enable autonomy, develop people and cultivate inclusion at the company level. We strive for our people to be inspired, feel safe and be fulfilled by the work they do.
• A key expectation includes structuring and scaling our customer acquisition capabilities to drive maximum commercial results across the portfolio through operational and strategic excellence.
• You will be accountable for leading and coaching Tribe Leaders across SEO as well as supporting other Product, Marketing and Commercial teams with customer-facing strategies. You will develop and stretch these leaders through both your marketing-specific and broad leadership experience, skills and insight.

We’re looking for someone who…

• Has a proven track record of experience in delivering strategy that enables organic growth at scale as well as building maturity of SEO team, tooling and data capabilities within a highly competitive industry.
• Has demonstrable experience in delivering innovative solutions to SEO and wider acquisition to reach commercial outcomes
• Has a proven track record of strategic leadership experience with demonstrable experience in building motivated and high-performing SEO teams at scale, as well as leading leaders through change.
• Has a strong growth mindset and is able to bring that to life for others; and motivated to have strategic influence and deliver tangible impact in a fast-moving and people-focused organisation
• Has experience in highly competitive product comparison/affiliate businesses, web-based products, product-led companies, matrix-structured organisations and agile ways of working.

It would be a bonus if…

• You have knowledge of building and running SEO teams in the iGaming industry or other very high-competition industries such as finance, healthcare, crypto
• We absolutely love people who are fascinated by SEO. Being a strategic leader but also someone who loves the technical details and getting their hands dirty in the intricacies of high-performance SEO.
