      Summary:

      Corpay is seeking to recruit an Operational Excellence Vice President for the Corpay Payables business.

      Corpay Payables is one of the fastest growing and important divisions of Corpay. We provide companies with a smarter way to track, manage and pay their expenses. Our products eliminate manual and disjointed processes, and deliver digital payments with speed and controls that minimize risk ( www.corpay.com ).

      • A/P Automation : Our solutions automate accounts payable functions to improve operational efficiency, enhance control and visibility, mitigate risks, and prevent fraud, allowing A/P to focus on more important tasks.
      • Virtual Cards : Our customers can utilize enhanced payment security with virtual cards that have unique account numbers to allow payment only to approved vendors.
      • Purchasing Cards : We help companies eliminate paper purchase orders, invoices, checks, and postage while giving approved purchasers an easier way to pay for services and supplies.

      About the Role:

      Corpay has initiated a search for an Operational Excellence Vice President. We are seeking a process-oriented individual with a passion for improving the customer experience. The Vice President is responsible for leading a team of individuals dedicated to process re-engineering of key customer facing processes. The work requires constant focus on improving the overall customer experience by increasing quality and driving efficiencies. This includes defining, building, and monitoring processes to ensure service level agreement (SLA) adherence. To be successful in this role and deliver holistic solutions, the Vice President will need to work closely with Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Technical Support.

      Main Responsibilities

      • Identify and prioritize projects to improve the customer experience.
      • Create business specific quality management framework.
      • Develop and maintain standards, processes, controls, metrics and quality improvement activities.
      • Investigate and address customer complaints regarding quality and the customer experience.
      • Work cross-functionally to investigate and define root causes of escalated inefficiencies.
      • Provide process mapping and content expertise on customer-facing processes.
      • Partner with IT to define and execute UAT for large complex projects.
      • This position is a very hands-on role that delivers tangible results for the company.
      • 5-10 direct reports.

      The Ideal Candidate

      • Bachelor’s Degree.
      • 7-10 years of experience in process management and quality improvement.
      • Experience in utilizing Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive process improvements.
      • PMP certified & demonstrated track record.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Quickly recognizes issues and opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
      • Data-driven mindset; holds self and others accountable with measurable ROI-oriented KPIs.
      • Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effective
      • Strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, facilitation and consensus building skills.
      • Embrace and drive change; drive continuous improvement culture.
      • Effective in building business relationships.
      • Demonstrated ability to act as a transformation / change agent within the organization.
      • Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex business issues. Proven ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions including recommended solutions.
      • Demonstrated ability to influence, promote and sell ideas to management, business partners and peers.
      • Demonstrate flexibility and maintain effectiveness in varying situations with diverse roles, responsibilities, work environments, and people.
      • Ability to communicate with influence to all levels of leadership to act on complex, technical, or sensitive topics with companywide impact.
      • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills required.
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft products required.
      • Proficiency with Salesforce highly desired.

      • As an Operational Excellence Leader, you will be both a contributor & lead to projects from start to finish. You’re responsible for controlling key deliverables and/or the outcome of your projects and having the confidence to do so is key.

      Excellent communication skills

      • Communication skills are without a doubt one of the key traits of a successful Operational Excellence Leader. Getting buy-in from stakeholders, team members and even clients can be essential to the success of a project, so your persuasion skills and the ability to communicate your ideas is key. The ability to interpret and translate ideas is also important, as you will need to relay ideas and conversations to your team in order to ensure they understand the project and what is required of them.

      Organized with a problem-solving mindset

      • Planning and organization should be at the forefront of every project you work on, no matter how big or small. Taking the time before starting a project, to evaluate and plan each step, ensuring you communicate this plan effectively across your team and key stakeholders of the business. As well as being organized, you will need to be able to solve problems and design strategies to deliver more complicated projects. Being able to progress the project with clever problem-solving skills will ensure that you don’t lose too much time when issues arise.
