- Coordinate complex account stewardship throughout North America
- Manage and coordinate service, including client stewardships meetings
- Perform site surveys and risk assessments for complex healthcare business
- Provide technical consultation to internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver meaningful recommendations to reduce potential for loss
- Support account growth, non-insurance revenue growth, and contact profitability
- Liaise with North America Underwriting Healthcare Industry Practice Leader to establish agreed upon Risk Engineering business priorities
- Partner with Risk Engineering Strategy & Operations to effectively manage Healthcare vendor relationships and performance
- Manage current Healthcare tools and services
- Engage in direct client/policyholder survey and service interaction when and where necessary to procure, support and retain profitable business
- Develop and lead a team of healthcare-focused risk engineers to conduct multi-line surveys and services throughout North America
- Create, manage, and provide updated technical subject matter including guidelines, service standards, and resources
- Drive Healthcare Quality Assurance (QA) process for ensuring consistent report and service quality
- Ensure risk engineering utilization efforts are appropriate and followed by underwriting
- Create thought leadership externally facing guidance. Manage Healthcare thought leadership deliverables (to internal and external stakeholders
- Perform project research in support of healthcare underwriting and claims
- Minimum 10 years in healthcare risk management and/or loss prevention functions
- Four-year college degree with major in Safety & Health, Sciences, Engineering, or related degree
- Professional designations or certifications (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Fire Protection Specialist, Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management, Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management)
- Preferred candidate will have dedicated specialization / expertise with healthcare multi-line (property and casualty) risk assessments and service deliverables
- Demonstrated leadership skills with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- Experience with developing and implementing strategies, procedures, and business plans to deliver success
- Superior understanding of standards including the ability to interpret and apply based on thorough understanding of the science of the standard
- Proven ability to create, plan, organize, implement, execute, and manage successful Risk Engineering programs and initiatives, including the ability to interrelate with top level management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as an established capability in public speaking to deliver training to personnel and business partners
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions, concentrating on high priority issues as needed and in a timely manner. Successfully lead through influence a network of risk management professionals. This includes coaching and developing future technical talent
- Strategic mindset and ability to translate strategy into actionable goals to ensure maximum returns
- Demonstrated success with developing, implementing, and executing strategies, procedures, and business plans
- Thorough understanding of Risk Engineering operations, techniques, loss prevention principles and standards, industrial operations, and insurance related activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. A working knowledge of SharePoint and Access preferred
We are seeking an established Healthcare expert and proven industry professional to join our team as our Risk Engineering Services Healthcare Industry Practice Leader. This leader will be responsible for providing risk engineering leadership and support to Chubb’s Healthcare Industry Practice Tower that encompasses Chubb’s Commercial Insurance, Major Accounts, Westchester, Bermuda, and Small Business Insurance business units..
Our Risk Engineering Services Healthcare Industry Practice Leader will be responsible for contributing to underwriting risk mitigation strategies, providing technical support, and establishing written guidelines for risk evaluations completed across our North America field network, conducting loss control evaluations, coordinating services, creating an inclusive team environment, and providing innovative solutions to elevate Risk Engineering's business proposition. The Healthcare Industry Practice Leader will report to Senior Vice President Risk Engineering Services Center of Excellence. This position does not have any direct reports.
This role will require 35+% of travel throughout North America and can sit anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications
The pay range for the role is $128,500 to $215,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website . The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
