- Work closely with underwriters, various business units, outside counsel, bank attorney, title & escrow. Reviews all loan documents & credit files for accuracy.
- Point person for various audits & quality assurance reviews.
- Ensure we follow all BSA, AML, CIP, OFAC, & regulatory requirements.
- Utilize salesforce to download reports to update the weekly pipeline report and distribute to all business units and various departments.
- Assist in training new hires
- Work closely with my team to streamline processes to make them more efficient.
- Successfully manage the preclosing, closing and post-closing process
- Understand the details of Compliance requirements as it relates to flood Rules/as per the OCC and Federal Flood Regulators

- 6 years of Loan Closing experience within Commercial Finance
- 5 years closing loans within any of the following credit verticals: Healthcare, Maritime, ABL, TMT, Aerospace and Defense, Sponsor, Energy, Syndicated loans

OverviewThis is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): TX, FL, GA, MA, IL, NC, NY, NJ, CT
The VP, Senior Commercial Loan Closer - Commercial provides a high level of support for the Commercial Finance Loan Operations division responsible for the expeditious and accurate completion of more loan applications by reviewing and processing more complex loan applications, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry into all systems. Prepares standardized and non-standardized reports and journals to communicate information about financial transactions. Reconciles routine and non-routine complex data and accounts in accordance with all applicable regulations and policies. Provides input and support to special initiatives and audits and aids period-end processes to assist in closing the books. Acts as subject matter expert (SME).

Preferred:
If hired in NC, TX, FL, GA, IL, NY, NJ, CT the base pay for this position is generally between $92,000.00 and $120,000.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
