What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of customer-facing software platforms related to Health Savings Accounts and Investment accounts
- Define technology vision and strategy, providing leadership in application development and security
- Set and communicate software development strategies to improve practices and drive modernization
- Lead teams to deliver secure, high-quality software and streamline product solutions
- Manage department-level budgets and deliver metrics on team efficiencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including oversight of the full software development lifecycle
- Minimum of 3 years in a Director-level role or higher in Software Development
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and hold teams accountable
- Extensive experience managing a large technology budget and collaborating with service providers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Microsoft technology stack including .NET and SQL Server
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies
- Experience with PaaS technologies, preferably Azure PaaS
- History of implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels
