      Overall Purpose

      As the VP of Zelle® marketing, drives awareness and demand for Zelle® with consumers and banks while also driving our consumer education initiatives. This well-rounded payments marketing expert will be responsible for all aspects of marketing including brand marketing, product marketing, partner marketing, communications and corresponding campaigns across paid, owned and social media. This role will set the vision, tone, performance and culture for the Zelle® marketing team and partners closely with Product, Sales, Finance, Legal, Communications as well as external agencies and financial institutions. This position reports directly to the CMO with a dotted line to the Zelle® General Manager and is based in New York City.

      Essential Functions

      Product Marketing: Partners closely with product organization to advance and launch new services and segments within the Zelle® brand framework. Develops and implements go-to-market plans for new product launches and customer segments. Creates compelling product positioning and value propositions based on findings and learnings from consumer research. Creates sales and marketing materials to be leveraged by Early Warning and our network of over 2000 banks and credit unions.

      Bank Channel Marketing : Develops and executes strategic marketing plans that drive consumer metrics across bank channels with a big focus on consumer usage and activating new segments. Leads bank customer forums to share best practices and strategies. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders within bank channels.

      Brand Marketing: Develops and implements compelling brand marketing strategies to increase brand consideration, usage, and trust. Oversees the creation and management of brand assets, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints, inclusive of bank channels. Drives advances in marketing measurement and ROI. Conducts market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform brand strategy.

      Consumer Education: Designs and implements consumer education programs to increase awareness and understanding of our products and how to prevent fraud and scams. Partners with key entities to advance our educational content and inform consumers at scale.

      • Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field

      • Marketing thought leader with demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-functional teams and agencies.

      • 15 or more years of marketing or related experience with consumer brands and B2B2C brands.

      • Proven ability to persuade and sell strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders; experience managing diverse stakeholder feedback and negotiating to successful outcomes.

      • Strong record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies and building customer and partner relationships

      • Prior experience working for a company with a strong, premium brand and a distinct culture.

      • Innovative and creative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into actionable and measurable plans, clear KPIs and business results.

      • Background and drug screen

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Additional related education and experience preferred.

      • Experience bringing new payments services and products to market, ideally in p2p and payments spaces.

      • Proven ability to drive consensus across diverse groups, with strong influencing skills.

      • Deep expertise in leading and managing creative brand and media agencies.

      • Experience developing and implementing customer/partner trial and usage campaigns that lead to significant business outcomes.

      • Experience working in highly regulated industries and/or for a high-growth organization is a plus.

      Physical Requirements

      Early Warning works together in a highly collaborative office environment. Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

      The pay scale for this position in:

      New York, NY in USD per year is: $270,000 - $300,000.
